Excitement in the Garden

Hello loyal fans! It's me again - Tuxedo Stan.

Stanley up close

We spent a lot of time out in our yard last week because we had some nice weather. I don't know if you are aware but cats HATE rain. It messes up our fur.

Anyway, we were minding our own cat business when all of a sudden this scary brown thing with a fluffy tail showed up.

squirrel

I was terrified! I found a place to hide while Earl decided what to do about it.

Earl wasn't sure how to deal with this strange alien so he decided to show off his hunting skills. He attacked a dead tree.

Thelma was so excited she forgot to put her false teeth in! I told her she looked goofy and she swatted me on the bum.

Louise wasn't very impressed. She didn't move from her favourite resting place in the grass. She doesn't move much as you can see from her wide hips.

Winnie came over and told us how tasty squirrels can be. She's old so she knows stuff.

We decided to have a meeting to figure out what to do.

Earl went high.

Thelma went low.

Louise tried to hurry but she's too fat to move very fast. So she walked.

It was really scary!

Surprised Stanley

We finally decided it was safer to eat kibble.

I gotta go. Earl just found a bug in the yard!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Oh my...how I love Tuxedo Stan and his adventures. I so needed a chuckle and wasn't disappointed when I read his latest entry. The pictures seem to talk to me ( I know, I'm nuts....) but they really do. Great pictures and captions...beautifully done. I think Tuxedo Stan should have his own book! You should run that by your publisher,Kathy!
