Launch Date Quickly Approaching!

With just a little over two weeks to go before the official launch of Urban Tigers, Tales of a Cat Vet things are getting a bit hectic. We have been lining up posters, business cards and official invitations. Please don’t be offended if you don’t get an official invite...everyone is welcome to attend. Bring a friend. Heck, bring your whole family! Our goal is to make this the biggest book launch this city has ever seen. We hope to give the fire marshal a migraine because the ballroom at the Atlantica Hotel will be bursting at the seams.

We will soon be sending out press releases to the media. Kathy has been fretting over how to write a perfect press release. Who knew this would be such a complicated project? Her secret dream is to be a guest on Jian Ghomeshi’s CBC radio show “Q”. I think it’s just because he’s a good-looking guy. At least that’s what I hear.

Rumour has it Patrick O’Neill Esq will be making a special visit to the book launch via video uplink. I hear the other cats at Atlantic Cat Hospital are jealous! Maybe they can be on the cover of Urban Tigers 2. We’re considering having a vote for which cat will be the cover model. What do you think?

Future projects include attendance at an upcoming SPCA Wellness Conference and at the annual Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Conference which is taking place in Halifax this year (how lucky is that!).

Stay tuned for more updates as May 15 quickly approaches.

  1. For Urban Tigers 2:
I recommend that you use a cover photo of a handsome and most agreeable, single (and available) male feline who has crossed blue eyes and pearly-white, well-brushed teeth. This cover model has extensive runway experience, posing for many weeks each year in the ACH window. Passersby have often remarked on his toned body, a result of a disciplined regime with personal trainer, Ms. Rhonda. Not just another handsome face (and buff body), this cover-boy also has a solid background in veterinary hospital management.

  2. Is that you JAKE? Must you resort to such low tactics to become famous? Patrick won't be your friend any more if he learns you are trying to displace him. Ben has designs on Joining Sir P on the cover of the sequel, Urban Tigers Two.
